House Rules, Frequently Asked Questions & Helpful House Info

In case of Emergency, (ie. flooding, gas, leak, or fire) please dial our emergency number (585 )465-5000 x 4
Medical Emergencies: call 911


Check out is no later than 11:00am.  When we have a check out and check in on the same day; our outdoor maintenance staff may arrive at 9:00am and our housekeeping staff may arrive around 10:00 am on your day of check out to start preparations for our next guests.

Lawn Care: the grounds will be mowed once a week, weather permitting
General Maintenance: we may send a staff maintenance person with or without a technician during your stay.  We will try to keep this to the outside of the house, however there may be an occasion to get into the utility room in the basement.   
Bathrooms: Please use the fans when showering.  This will help preserve the wood.

-Most outside lights operate automatically from dusk to dawn

-No 4 wheel driving of any kind on the properties

-No smoking in the homes, on the patio, or on the decks.  ONLY smoke in the designated smoking area.  Use the receptacle provided.

-Fireworks of any kind, shape, or model are not permitted. Please relay this to your guests. 

-Ponds(if applicable) There is no swimming in the ponds. If you have booked in the winter months PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GO OUT ON THE ICE! KEEP OFF! There are 2 aerators in the ponds which creates thin ice and open waters.

-NO SLIP AND SLIDES PLEASE AS THIS WILL DAMAGE THE LAWN.

TRY TO KEEP OUT OF THE REFRIGERATOR as much as possible
Some homes have a back up generator, please call the emergency number

Is booking online secure?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway providers database. It will only be accessible by those authorized with special rights to such systems. They are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

What are the benefits of a vacation home rental?
Our vacation homes are stocked in such a way that you always feel like you are coming "home" to your "vacation home" rather than returning to a small hotel room. Our homes have full kitchens, game rooms, hot tubs, pools, BBQ grills and fire pits.   Just bring your food, beverages, pool towels and smiles!  Enjoy our home while you are on vacation rather than a small, cramped hotel room.
